PTFE gasket that seals the heating element to the boiler on Rancilio machines, preventing water seepage around the element flange.

INSTALLATION

Requires draining the boiler and removing the heating element, a job best suited to an experienced DIYer or technician.

PRO TIPS

• PTFE gaskets don't compress and re-seal the way rubber does, always install a fresh one when you pull the heating element rather than reusing the old gasket, even if it looks intact, or you risk a slow weep at the element flange.
• Snug the element bolts down evenly in a star/cross pattern rather than one side at a time, to keep the PTFE gasket compressing flat against the boiler face.
